FAQ

Buying a car with cryptocurrency at Jeff Wyler means you can use digital currencies instead of traditional payment methods to complete your vehicle purchase. You pick out a vehicle at one of our 23 dealerships in Ohio, Kentucky, or Indiana, let the team know you want to pay with crypto, and we help you complete the transaction securely through BitPay.

You can pay using several major cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Bitcoin Cash, Dogecoin, Litecoin, and select USD pegged stablecoins such as USDC, GUSD, and DAI. You may also be able to combine more than one supported cryptocurrency as part of your payment.

In many cases, you can use cryptocurrency alongside traditional payment methods. For example, you might use crypto for a down payment and then finance the remaining balance. Your sales consultant can explain how to structure a deal that uses both crypto and conventional funding based on the vehicle and lender guidelines.

After you choose a vehicle and let your sales associate know you want to pay with cryptocurrency, the dealership will generate a BitPay invoice. You then scan the QR code or copy the wallet address from the invoice and send the exact amount from your crypto wallet. Once the payment is confirmed on the blockchain, we finalize your paperwork and release the vehicle.

BitPay invoices are time sensitive. You need to send the exact crypto amount within the 15 minute payment window shown on the invoice. Sending the payment promptly helps avoid rate changes or transaction issues and keeps your purchase moving smoothly.
